About Luna Wellness Center, LLC — The Vision
The Luna Wellness Center was born after an extremely vivid dream during December 2008. The dream was so vivid, and the center so busy, that the stress of whether to hire help or take on a partner is what woke up the director. Now that's vivid!
The Center is currently cyber-only; however, it will ultimately have a brick-and-mortar store front as well. Our vision for the center is a place where those of like-minds can hang out and trade stories, trade advice, share a cup of tea or coffee (maybe some finger sandwiches), find copies of specialty books, check out the gift shop, have a massage, intuitive reading, Reiki or energy treatment, hypnosis session, or attend a workshop with others on prosperity, abundance, or recovering from dysfunctional relationships, and moving around those things inside of YOU that YOU can control.
Our vision for the Center is a place where YOU can find the support you need.

Melodie Hawkins holds certifications as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (American Council of Hypnotist Examiners), Forensic Hypnotist (National Guild of Hypnotists & Mindsight Consultants), and Certified Hypnotherapist (National Guild of Hypnotists). She's been a professional hypnotherapist since 2003. She was the FIRST Denver area hypnotist to do a Live Regression on local radio (talk radio, KOA 850 AM) in February 2004 during the Rick Barber overnight show. She was a regular guest on his show during 2003-2004.
She is also a Certified Reiki Master Teacher (Usui; 2002 & 2007), Certified Karuna Healing Master Teacher (2003 & 2008), and Certified Advanced Practioner of Integrated Energy Therapy (2003), a form of cellular release therapy. (That one came with angels!) She's also had a Reconnective Healing done on herself (2003), and the practitioner activated her hands for that healing energy as well. For those sensitive to energy as colors (and she is one), the Reiki energies are green and purple; the Karuna Healing (like Tibetan reiki) energies are more green and purple with some pink; the Integrated Energy Therapy energies are very pink; and the Reconnective Healing energies are blue. Each corresponds to a different wavelength, and they concentrate or affect different things more intensely. For example, the Reiki energies focus more on physical ails, while the Karuna and Integrated Energy ones seem to affect emotions more. The Reconnective Healing energies, can be quite intense, and yes---you've guessed it--- the shortest wavelength of them all. There appears to be a Pleadian connection with them.
She's studied with Doreen Virtue, PhD (2005; www.angeltherapy.com), and also holds ordination from the Universal Life Church as a ULC Minister, Spiritual Counselor, and Soul Therapist. ULC also granted a Doctor of Metaphysics title. All ULC titles were granted in 2003.
Melodie is also a professional science and technology writer. Her first cover story (while working in technology transfer) was published in 1996 on nanotechnology, and her second, shortly thereafter, was on new environmental technologies. She was "green" long before it was popular or cool, thanks to growing up on a farm in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Country folk have always made things last longer, recycled as much as possible, and wasted as little as possible. It was a matter of economics, not carbon footprint. (She's waiting for someone to realize the biggest greenhouse gas is Water Vapor from the oceans—and want to cap them! lol) . And this is the way that she still lives, based on the values and principals taught her and the knowing that country folk have from living close to the land, that what affects the animals and plants, also affects us. She drives a Prius hybird (ave 45 mpg; she is frugal) and longs to move to a mountain top, returning to her simple, country roots, with the stray and rescue animals that seem to find her.
Melodie holds a BS in Biology (ecology concentration) and a minor in Chemistry from Old Dominion University, in Norfolk, VA. She has been a consultant in one form or another since 1981.
